The story behind the name
10.13

A turning point, not a tragedy.

In October 2013, Eyaluta Seifu faced a moment that would redefine everything. As her father lay in the ICU on life support, she was facing her own health crisis in another wing of the same hospital — two lives held in the balance under one roof. In that place of uncertainty and vulnerability, a conviction took hold: to build something lasting, purposeful, and empowering.

The name 10.13 honors that moment — not as a memory of hardship, but as the point everything turned. It carries the values that now define the company: resilience in the face of challenge, adaptability in a changing world, and a transformative approach to leadership, technology, and service.

Founded in Washington, D.C., 10.13 Enterprise grew from a place of personal survival into a mission-driven, EDWOSB-certified firm delivering cybersecurity and strategic IT to federal clients — built on empowering people, innovating with purpose, and delivering secure, scalable solutions that make a lasting impact.
